Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Orbis Exchange is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead our finance function as the firm enters its next phase. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the board, the CFO will own financial strategy, governance, and controls across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall financial strategy and long-term planning of the firm.

• Own financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

• Oversee treasury, risk, and capital management in an FX-trading environment.

• Ensure compliance with FCA regulation and all statutory reporting obligations.

• Maintain strong financial controls, systems, and governance across the business.

• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, regulators, and investors.

• Build and lead the finance team as the business scales.

• Provide financial insight to the CEO and board to guide strategic decisions.

Experience & Skills:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with senior finance leadership experience.

• Proven track record as a CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent, ideally in financial services or FX.

• Strong knowledge of FCA regulation, treasury, and risk management.

• Commercial mindset with the ability to link financial strategy to business performance.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and board-level stakeholder skills.
