Ashcombe Industries is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day production and drive performance across our manufacturing site. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for keeping operations running efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily production and operational performance across the site.
Manage, support, and develop shop-floor and supervisory teams.
Drive continuous improvement and efficiency across processes.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
Manage resource planning, scheduling, and workflow.
Monitor and report on key operational metrics and targets.
Experience & Skills:
Proven experience in an operations or production management role.
Background in manufacturing or an industrial environment.
Strong leadership and people-management skills.
Knowledge of lean or continuous improvement methods.
Sound planning, problem-solving, and organisational ability.
A practical, results-focused approach.
Preferred:
Relevant operations, engineering, or manufacturing qualification.
Experience managing across multiple shifts or teams.
