Operations Manager

Ashcombe Industries is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day production and drive performance across our manufacturing site. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for keeping operations running efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production and operational performance across the site.

• Manage, support, and develop shop-floor and supervisory teams.

• Drive continuous improvement and efficiency across processes.

• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

• Manage resource planning, scheduling, and workflow.

• Monitor and report on key operational metrics and targets.

Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience in an operations or production management role.

• Background in manufacturing or an industrial environment.

• Strong leadership and people-management skills.

• Knowledge of lean or continuous improvement methods.

• Sound planning, problem-solving, and organisational ability.

• A practical, results-focused approach.

Preferred:

• Relevant operations, engineering, or manufacturing qualification.

• Experience managing across multiple shifts or teams.
